When you can claim in relation to family members at home
A family member is ill, and they are not travelling with you. Would you be covered for cancellation or curtailment if their health deteriorates?
Our policies will cover claims for cancellation or curtailment if a family member is ill. However, you be asked for additional information in order to honour these types of claims.
For example, we night might need the close relatives doctor to state that, at the time the travel insurance was purchased, they would not have foreseen such a serious deterioration in their patient’s condition.
