On 04 November 2025 Typhoon Kalmeagi hit the Phillipines, causing torrential rain, widespread flooding and disruption to travel services. It is currently making its way toward Vietnam.
Typhoon Kalmaegi is expected to impact Vietnam in the coming days. Heavy rain and dangerous winds are expected, which may cause flash flooding and landslides. Transport, including airport closures and flight cancellations, along with essential services, may also be affected.
